HEADLIGHT

Headlight Restoration

Our headlight restoration service removes yellowing and oxidation by carefully sanding the polycarbonate lenses down to a flat, clean surface, using multiple stages of precise sanding. We then perform a three-step correction process to bring back clarity and gloss, followed by the application of a two-year self-healing Revivify coating to help keep your headlights looking clear and like new for years to come.

Detailing FAQs

Learn More About our Detailing Service

  • 1. What’s included in a typical detail from S.C.A. Detailing?

Our goal with every detail is to make your ride feel like a fresh version of itself, not just “less dirty.” On the outside, we hand wash, clean wheels and tires, hit the cracks and badges, and apply appropriate protection so the paint looks clean and glossy. Inside, we vacuum thoroughly, wipe down and clean high-touch areas, and chase dust, crumbs, and light stains, so the cabin feels comfortable again. Depending on the package, we’ll step things up with deeper interior work, decontamination, or upgrades like paint correction or coatings.

  • 2. How long does a full detail usually take?

Timing really depends on the size of the vehicle and the condition it shows up in. A small, fairly clean sedan will go quicker than a large SUV that’s been hauling kids, pets, and gear for months. Most full details take a few hours because we’re not rushing or cutting corners just to get to the next car. When you book, we’ll give you a general time window, and once we see the vehicle in person, we’ll let you know what to expect.

  • 3. What’s the difference between interior, exterior, and full detailing?

Interior detailing focuses on everything you touch and sit on: seats, carpets, mats, plastics, trim, consoles, and vents. Exterior detailing handles the body, glass, wheels, and tires, along with whatever level of protection is included in the package. A full detail combines both, so your vehicle feels clean inside and out in one shot. If you’re not sure what you need, we’ll ask a few questions about what’s bugging you most and point you in the right direction.

  • 4. Do you offer mobile detailing, and is it as good as in-shop work?

Yeah, we offer mobile detailing, and you’re not losing quality just because we’re coming to you. For qualifying services, we bring professional tools, products, and know-how to your driveway or workplace, so your car can get dialed in while you keep living your life. Some bigger jobs or specialty services still make more sense at the shop, but for many details, mobile is a super convenient option. We’ll let you know what can be done on-site and what we recommend bringing in.

  • 5. How often should I get my vehicle detailed?

It really depends on how you use your vehicle and what you expect it to look like. Daily drivers, kid-haulers, and work rigs usually benefit from a good detail a few times a year, with lighter maintenance in between. Garage-kept cars or weekend toys might not need it as often, but they still appreciate periodic cleanups and protection. When we see your car, truck, or bike, we’ll give you a realistic recommendation so you’re not overdoing it or waiting too long between visits.

Pre-Service Checklist

Five Steps to Prep for Your Detailing Appointment

Clear out personal items and trash
1. Clear out personal items and trash

Before your appointment, pull out anything you don’t want us working around: gym bags, car seats you’re not using, tools, kids’ toys, cups, and random receipts. You don’t have to make it perfect, but clearing the loose stuff means we can focus on actually cleaning instead of playing musical chairs with your belongings. The more open space you leave us, the deeper we can go with the detail.

Remove valuables and fragile items
2. Remove valuables and fragile items

Grab anything valuable or sentimental so you’re not worrying about it during the service. Things like electronics, jewelry, important documents, or fragile accessories are better off inside the house. We’re careful, but you’ll feel better knowing your important stuff’s safe and out of the way while we move seats, clean consoles, and vacuum hard-to-reach areas.

Choose a good parking spot
3. Choose a good parking spot

If we’re coming to you, park where we’ve got room to work around the vehicle and open all the doors. A flat driveway or open parking spot is ideal. If you’re in an apartment or shared lot, try to pick a space where we won’t block traffic or upset neighbors. If you’re bringing the vehicle to the shop, just make sure we’ll be able to access all sides when you pull in.

Let us know about problem areas
4. Let us know about problem areas

Take a minute to look over your vehicle and note anything that really bugs you. Maybe it’s a coffee stain, heavy pet hair, a sand-filled cargo area, or wheels that never seem to come clean. When you drop off the vehicle or when we arrive, point those out. We’ll prioritize those spots, walk you through what’s realistic, and make sure we’re focusing on the things you care about most.

Make sure we can reach you during the appointment
5. Make sure we can reach you during the appointment

You don’t need to hover while we work, but it helps if you’re reachable by phone or nearby. Sometimes we’ll have a quick question, find something unexpected, or want your go-ahead on an extra step. Being able to reach you means we can keep things moving, avoid surprises, and hand the vehicle back exactly how you want it.
